The colors and the fruity and feminine direction of the prints are inspired by the young Korean and Mexican artist Monica Garza. Monica Garza’s paintings are an ode to carefree brown women. Most of her work portrays curvy, half naked ladies either relaxing or exercising in sunny environments, often featuring fruits, palm trees and bright colors.
The color palette in the collection features a positive and crispy combination of glowing yellow, bright blues and sandy beige inspired of the scenery on a beach. Feminine apricot, coral and maple are added to gather the colors, complimented with hints of green and turquoise.
The look is clean and feminine with cool references to the 00’s from puff sleeves, halternecks, strap dresses and a selection of both mini and maxi silhouettes.
The qualities are mainly based on natural fibers such as Viscose, Bamboo, Rayon, Cotton and Modal. Recycled Polyester is also used in the collection and buttons cut in coconut are used as trim.
